I've heard so many questions, comments, and suggestions over the past few weeks. Thank you all so much! I'm excited to see so many others excited about what we are trying. So many thoughts and ideas are bouncing around. As the weather is starting to change and we see the effects on the grass and the trees around us, we get a feeling that our world is also in a state of constant change.
As we finish up on creation, I'd like us to not lose sight of the main question: what was God's reason for creating man? This will lead us into what we all know man did next, sin. We know what sin is, right? It's what other people do wrong, but what is sin really, and what does it really mean? We know what Adam and Eve did, and we know what Cain did, but what's after that, and why is it crucial to our understanding of Genesis?
Our focus this week will continue to be the early chapters of Genesis, especially chapters 3 and 4.
Don't miss our devotional this Sunday as it will "give us wings" into these chapters (I just got back from visiting the Wright Brothers Museum). HA!
