All of my fears like Jericho walls gotta come down,

I met a guy last week for three minutes while in line paying for gas. He told me everything wrong with the world in that three minute span. That got me thinking about this "Jericho" we make for ourselves.

The title above are the lyrics to a song by Andrew Ripp (Jerico). Very good song. What if we came out from our walls. All the things we "think", correct or incorrect, that are holding us back from God's will for our lives. It got me thinking of, well, me. All the places I hide, the walls I build, the safety I think I have.

Joshua CH 1-6 tell the story of the long awaited promised land. Skim over those and focus on Ch 6. Look up a few facts on Jericho. Let's see what that city was in it's day. What it represented. Why it fell. Then let's ask some crucial questions about us.
